While a full building LED retrofit does come with a price tag, it will be several years before you have to spend additional money to update and replace worn-out or faulty bulbs.
The maintenance associated with LED bulbs is very low compared to their halogen or fluorescent counterparts. LEDs are warrantied to last a certain length of time, whereas traditional bulbs are not. When a traditional bulb burns out in your building you’ll have to buy a new one – an expense that can add up significantly over time.
Not only will a light retrofit in your building save you money on future replacements, it will also save you money by using less energy over time – 85% less, to be exact.
