BOMA Calgary is the pulse of Calgary’s commercial real estate industry. The association distributes resources and publications on information relevant to the industry. In addition, they provide tools and career enhancement via education, networking, and mentoring

Building Operators Association (BOA)
BOA’s goal is to build and maintain closer relationships among Building Operators through networking, education and the exchange of ideas. They commit to improving the methods and efficiency of building operations in partnership with accredited programs, and promote safety at the worksite at all times.

Calgary Lighting partnered with BOA and other key industry organizations to create the $1,000 Calgary Lighting Products Building Operators Scholarship program. Calgary Hotel Association

The Calgary Hotel Association is comprised of 62 member hotel properties located in four primary quadrants across the city: Downtown, South Calgary, Northeast and Northwest. These properties feature a combined total of 10,433 available rooms. The CHA works alongside its 62 member hotels to support the communities, events, and ideas that make Calgary unique. Since its inception in 2005, the CHA has invested $60+ million in Calgary’s tourism industry

CCI Southern Alberta

The Canadian Condominium Institute is the Voice of Condominium in Canada. It is a national, independent, non-profit organization dealing exclusively with condominium issues. Formed in 1982, CCI represents all participants in the condominium community. Interested groups are encouraged to work together toward one common goal — creating a successful and viable condominium community. CCI operates primarily through Chapters across the country.

Illuminating Engineering Society of North America

The Illuminating Engineering Society, or IES, was founded in 1906. It is the recognized technical authority on illumination. The IES’s objective is to communicate information on all aspects of good lighting practice to its members, to the lighting community, and to consumers, through a variety of programs, publications, and services.

International Facility Management Association

The International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) is the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association for professional facility managers, supporting more than 19,000 members in 60 countries. The association’s members, represented in 125 chapters and 16 councils worldwide, manage more than 37 billion square feet of property and annually purchase more than US$100 billion in products and services. Formed in 1980, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management certificate programs and produces World Workplace, the world’s largest facility management conference and exposition.

The Southern Alberta Shopping Centre Association (SASCA) works to connect, inform and educate local professionals about the shopping centre and retail industry. SASCA serves all of Southern Alberta and uses Calgary as their main hub for events.
