Calgary Lighting Products is a wholesale commercial lighting distributor based in Calgary, Alberta. We’re passionate about lighting and strive to continuously maintain and advance our expertise in our industry. The company was founded in 1972 and has been in the Jamani Family since 2000.
We are driven by our vision statement; guided by ethical values, industry experts and the economic landscape. We’ve got a great team of people who love coming to work everyday, headed by a fantastic leadership and management team.
For over 40 years, our company’s journey has allowed us to experience tremendous growth and transformation. We’ve always been a great place to find replacement lamps. But, in the last 12 years, we’ve also become a great place to access a wider range of lighting services and expertise. Lighting expertise cannot just be read in a book; it must be experienced by spending time on projects, working directly with our customers, learning about client’s circumstances and most importantly collaborating with other members in the industry; our respected competitors, valued manufacturers & agents, technical lighting engineers and creative lighting designers. Everyone involved helps to keep the industry moving forward and providing an exceptional end-user experience.
Our goal is to be an excellent customer-driven company. Our approach is to be solution-oriented product experts through taking continuous education, offering a range of services that accompany our commercial grade products such as Fluorescent Tube Recycling, Light Mapping, Energy Audits and Lighting Design.
Calgary Lighting Products is LED Black Belt Certified which means our sales staff have undergone 5-levels of LED training to provide our customers with sound, industry-based advice.
As part of our executive direction we have a social responsibility mandate whereby we support local and international communities & charities. Locally, we support the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Calgary and Area by hosting an annual Jazz concert, 18 Degrees Of Jazz. We also support BBBS financially and with the scarcest resource we all have, time. Internationally, we support the Aga Khan Development Network in developing countries with their projects that range from providing clean and safe drinking water, education for girls, access to basic health care and education. www.AKDN.org
